(Sutter Creek) Art Toy was recognized at Thursday’s Amador Water Agency Board meeting by his former fellow AWA Directors and AWA staff with a resolution commending him for his nine years of service to AWA.
The resolution noted Toy’s significant contributions toward the financial stability of the Water Agency, his focus on results over activities, his assistance to the City of Plymouth and River Pines Public Utility District, and his fondness for a certain 1940 Ford Pickup “restoration in progress.”
Congratulating Toy (far right) in the photo are AWA Directors (left to right) Rich Farrington, Gary Thomas, Susan Peters, and Board President Paul Molinelli, Jr.
Toy resigned in September from the AWA Board after serving on the Board representing the Plymouth area’s District 5 since January, 2011. At the meeting Thursday, AWA Directors appointed Randal Livingston serve out Toy’s remaining term, which expires in December, 2022.
