The contractor for the CAWP Redwood Tanks Retrofit Project at Pine Acres and Ridgeway Pines has scheduled planned shut downs to complete tie-ins. The following is a list of scheduled shut downs for the week of May 11th and the customers affected.
Completed: May 13th Ridgeway Pines– 104 customers affected. All addresses on Ashland View Ct., Crystal Ridge Ct., N. Meadow Dr., Deer Ct, and Sunset Ct. All addresses on Sugar Pine Drive and Sugar Pine Court. Water quality samples are all clear. You no longer need to boil you water.
May 14th Pine Acres (2nd tie in) – 5 customers affected: On Tabeaud Rd. 12416, 12402, 12370, 12345, 12360. This shut down will be conducted between 08:00am – 2:00 pm. Hill Top Rd and Hill Top Ct. should not be affected.
Once water service is restored we ask that you boil any water you wish to consume or use bottled water until water quality samples come back clear from the lab. We will notify you when we lift the boil advisory.
The chances of water contamination are remote, and AWA will not take any chances with your family’s health. AWA takes protection of public’s health as our foremost responsibility. In most cases, issuing a boil water notice is a precautionary measure for the safety of our customers.
Once the water system is fully charged and back online you may experience air in the lines, discolored or cloudy water. This is normal. We ask that you open your taps and flush the line.
