Amador Water Agency’s wastewater crew will be conducting smoke testing the sewer system today between Noon and 3pm at 12200 Airport Rd (County Yard).
Sewer smoke testing is the most cost effective method to find sources of surface water inflow & infiltration – the leading cause of wet weather SSO’s. Fast and easy to do, smoke testing produces immediate results that can be acted on quickly.
You may see some smoke coming from manholes. This is normal during the testing and there is no need to be alarmed.
