On December 28, 2017 Agency crews felled several trees near the Agency’s potable Water Tank C. These trees were casualties of the bark beetle epidemic currently impacting many communities in the foothills and mountains of California. The Agency has a project in place that will select a contractor to remove the rest of the approximately 200 trees killed by bark beetle that could negatively impact Agency facilities were they to fall.
